And with this I have reached a milestone on my quest toward being able to confidently produce fanart; posting it on dreamwidth. Make no mistake; I feel terrible about my art. I figure a lot of it is due to my depressive period and lack of practice though, so I'm gonna work long and hard at overcoming it, because -gasp- I'm rediscovering that drawing can be pretty fun! So here it is; the first time I've taken drawing seriously since 2009.

Warnings: A naked dude of which you can see no unmentionables and all of one man-nipple (Does half an ass even count?), also blood and a dead bunny.

A while ago I wondered what to draw, and since Manda had offered to write me porn (the most valuable of currencies, I think you'll agree) I let her prompt me. She wanted a KuroFai kiss on the forehead with Kurogane getting all embarrassed and blushy-faced. What resulted was the first piece I've actually finished from sketch through lineart to colouring in several years. (I don't feel very good about the result, but when do I ever? If nothing else I can at least feel good about the fact that I finally did it.) My first adventures in PaintTool SAI. I've no idea how tan people blush, but I assume they're at least not as luminous as pale people. I am also never going to shade anything as dark as Kurogane's jacket ever again I swear, I couldn't see jack of what I was doing. Thanks for the opportunity Manda, hope you enjoy~

What I am actually most pleased with in this dump! Have raptor!Fai. I sort of wanted to make him a lot more birdlike but this piece had started as a sort of anatomy-practice and I also wanted to keep the bits of the human body that I liked... so it became a crossbreed thing. I may have to draw more bird!Fais with stuff I left out from this one, like tailfeathers and birdfeet... And the bunny is not in human form because I was too lazy and was not about to figure out another person in there, also "How do I human gore?!" Just pretend Fai is a bird or the bunny is a person and the amount of blood should be more proportionately accurate to the carnage.

And then we have some old sketches and such, most of which has already been posted on tumblr, but I figure there's no harm in cramming them in here as well while I'm at it.

Vamp!Fai is gorgeous and hot. I like how the shades of his eyes and his hair match and that awesome collar, not to mention the collarbone!

I generally like how you draw Fai with his hair down.
And Kurogane's epic face in the kissing picture. He's so 'OMFG, what is happening'? 8D
And the kiddies are just cuuuute. :3

(Only predator!Fai's hair looks a bit to, erm, "full", it's usually less voluminous but who cares anyway, because the important parts - i.e. the ass and the nipple - are A+)

About the crossdressing: really, I don't get people. I bet they are hating crossdressing for the same reasons why some so called Tsubasa-fans hate the idea of Fai and Kurogane being gay; because they think that makes them less "manly". O_o
(Fuck society's general idea of manliness, really.)

Totally agree that porn is the most valuable currency, because writing it requires a certain skill and knowledge (and Uakari is so ridiculously good at it, how does she doe that, HOW?).

The forehead kiss is ridiculously adorable. Like amg, you can tell how stiffened Kurogane is because he totally didn't expect that and it's like he's not even used to such affection.

But as for people with tanner complexion, when we blush, it's a reddish hue. A flush is pinkish (and more common for people with paler complexion when they actually blush). I can't say I ever looked in the mirror when I was blushing, but people have told me 'wow! you're turning red!' and yeah... I don't even know if that's helpful. o/

And you know how I feel about the other art you have shared, ESPECIALLY THE KIDS ONE. YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THAT ONE.

OMG arts! Holy hell you draw Kuro-tan's hair perfectly. *jaw drops* And his FACE in that first picture! His wide eyes and overall stiff and stunned posture is wonderfully depicted.

*eee* So many different feelings! The mood in the eyepatch picture is so yummy, and the kiddles are so adorably happy! I love Fai's "pshh" sort of face/pose in the cross-dressing pic and HNNNNNNNGH DAT VAMPIRE.

You make me want to draw. I should hire you as my new muse. My current one is too prone to napping when I have time to draw and inspiring me when I'm busy. XD
