 What it says on the tin. I've noticed that fanfics are great sources of inspiration, and here are the resulting sketches! Sorry there's nothing with "proper effort" behind it in this batch - life's not been kind to me this past week so I haven't had much energy to put towards drawing other than the insatiable urge to DRAW ALL THE THINGS.

Spring Comes Late to Colorado by kittenkin Re-reading chapter one I noticed that this isn't exactly how it went, and then promptly refused to give any fucks, because cute strip idea okay, sshhh. Also I apologize for anime eyes syndrome making them look like teens rather than grown men, oops. And I need to practice facial expressions.

Princess of Snow by zelinxia Of all possible illustrations I've thought of doing for PoS, the image of Kurogane treading through the blizzard's what's stuck with me the most. Severe artistic liberties taken here because I have crap memory and am awful at imagining how things look from reading about them, 'things' meaning 'clothes'. Also it's done in the middle of the night.

The Dress Was Just to Watch Your Neck Inflate by uakari Done even later in the night. I hate frills and am never going to draw them ever again. Pfft as if. What else is there to say about this one? Not much. It's a PWP featuring Fai in a dress being a devious troll, frankly I can't think of anything not to like about it.

I love how Kurogane's fixated on the baby at first but then Fai's a-durrr distracts him completely from the fact that there's a mystery baby sitting in a duffel bag in his shop, and he's just staring at Fai as if he's forgotten the baby entirely. XD Little chibi Fai is so flustered and sweet! *eeeee* I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

I think your artwork is lovely and wonderfully mood-filled. The emotions just seep through and touch me. <3 Like you said yourself in another post, the technical aspect of your art is something you can work on and improve through practice. I think you already have the "soul" part down, and that's what really makes a work come alive and be meaningful.

I love your little comic just because it's so damn cute, but also because it's a compliment to me that you read and liked my story and were inspired to draw something for it. Of course I want to show it off to everyone! XD

these are totally perfect. I have an especial fondness for the little comic strip, with derpy little Fai, because OMG it's so precious, but I LOVE THEM ALL. That IMAGE, of Kurogane in the blizzard... WOW. And ahahahah, that sassy pose in the dress.

These are all lovely, and very evocative XD I think my favorite is the top one just for the comedic timing, and the clever use of the edge of the bag as framing.

I just wanted both of their faces visible at once, and since they're staring down the bag I realized the edges could be visible so I tacked them on as an afterthought. I'm amazed that people like my impulses~
