This is an LJ-post I wrote for a friend of mine who was interested in Yu-Gi-Oh and wanted me to summarize the franchise and make it a bit more accessible for a complete newcomer. Out of all the posts on my LJ, I figured this is the only one worth copying to DW. I've also updated the wording a bit from the LJ version.
